About Me - Lindsey Blanks
Originally from Winchester, VA, I graduated from Virginia Tech and later earned a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Appalachian State University. Over the last decade, I’ve worked in hospital rehab units, caring for adult patients with complex conditions related to strokes, brain injuries, respiratory failure, and more. My time in the ICU and on cardiac, neuro, and pulmonary floors deepened my understanding of diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans.
This hands-on healthcare experience gives me a unique perspective in health insurance. I guide clients through the complexities of medical coverage with knowledge, care, and compassion.
I met my husband, Andrew, while at Virginia Tech. After reconnecting nearly 15 years later, we’re now happily married. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and is passionate about helping families make sound financial decisions for the present and future - he always does what is right by the client; this is something I deeply admire for obvious reasons!
In 2023, we moved from Richmond to Lynchburg, where we now live with our dog Rueger, named after the street we once called home in RVA.
Today, I specialize in health insurance, driven by a genuine desire to help people feel informed and supported. My clinical background allows me to offer thoughtful, personalized guidance to individuals and families navigating their healthcare options.
